Urgent Help Needed
Who knows how God chooses the people whom He places in our path. Sukurani Mashidi has been placed in our path for a reason. He has a destiny planned by God.

His family will be prayed for, and the Gospel shared with them during this trial.

Many of you remember Pamba Judy, the little boy who needed heart surgery while James and Judy were in Uganda. God placed Pamba Judy in our path.

He is now thriving in a Christian school. His parents have even placed Pamba Judy's sister in the Christian school.

God has placed Sukurani Mashidi in our path for Such a Time as This.

Update 3/2/26
The parents and baby arrived in Kampala last week where they were met by Joan and Samuel. At the international hospital, a team of doctors examined him and ran tests and scans. He is malnourished and has an infection. They have sent him home with nutrition supplements and antibiotics. He will return to Kampala on April 13th. The hope is that he will be stronger and that the doctors will have determined how to proceed.

This is Sukurani Mashidi who is 9 months old. The pathway for exiting waste from the body was not developed at birth. The local hospitals pulled the stomach to the side in order to make a pathway for waste disposal.
His life is in danger.

Mtoto W'afrika has transported Mashidi and his parents to Kampala on 2/22/26. He will visit a doctor at an International Hospital on 2/23/26. He will need surgery to save his life. Please help us raise money for his life saving surgery. Come back here for updates.
